Recreational Soccer

EAGAN REC. SOCCER

Welcome to Eagan Recreational soccer! Soccer is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country because it is fun and challenging for players of all ages. There are so many benefits to playing soccer including:

  • Boosts self-confidence & self-esteem

2 SEASONS OF PLAY:

  • SPRING: May - June  
  • FALL: August - October

LEVELS OF PLAY:*

  • Pre-Kindergarten (born before 12/31/19)
  • K
  • 1st - 2nd Grade
  • 3rd - 4th Grade
  • 5th - 6th Grade
  • 7th - 8th Grade

2024 SPRING SEASON

Registration opens in January 2024 through March 15, 2024.

2024 FALL SEASON

Registration opens in June 2024 through July TBD, 2024.

Equipment

* Shin guards are required for all players; soccer cleats & water bottles are also recommended.

Levels of rec SOCCER

As you age through the program new development milestones will be reached.
 

For the Spring season, players should register according to the grade they are in at the start of that season.

For the Fall season, players should register according to the grade they will be entering in the fall of that year. 

Pre-K (born before 12/31/19)

TEAMS:
Co-Ed teams

FIELD: 
Blue Cross Blue Shield Field
3535 Blue Cross Road, Eagan

SCHEDULE:
Mon/Wed: Co-Ed Pre-K
-or- Tues/Thurs: Co-Ed Pre-K
45 minutes or 1 hour (coach discretion) - 5:30-6:30 p.m.

COST:
$80/season
Includes uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), fields, team equipment.


Does not include shin guards (required), cleats & water bottle.

BALL SIZE: 3

Teams play on 1/2 of the small fields without goalkeepers. Coaching & game refereeing is done by parent volunteers.

Kindergarten

TEAMS:
Boys teams & Girls teams

FIELD: 
Blue Cross Blue Shield Field
3535 Blue Cross Road, Eagan

SCHEDULE:
Mon/Wed: K Boys
Tues/Thurs: K Girls
1 hour - 5:30-6:30 p.m.

COST:
$80/season
Includes uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), fields, team equipment.


Does not include shin guards (required), cleats & water bottle.

BALL SIZE: 3

Kindergartners will play on 1/2 of the small fields without a goalkeeper. Coaching & game refereeing is done by parent volunteers.

 

1st-2nd Grade

TEAMS:

BALL SIZE: 3

1st-2nd graders will play a full small field without a goalkeeper. Coaching & game refereeing is done by parent volunteers.

3rd-4th Grade

TEAMS:
Boys teams & Girls teams

POSSIBLE FIELDS:

Rahn Elementary School (4425 Sandstone Drive)

Meadowlands Park (4380 Beaver Dam Road)


SCHEDULE:
Mon/Wed: Boys
Tues/Thurs: Girls
1 hour - 5:30-6:30 p.m.

COST:
$95/season
Includes a uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), fields, team equipment.


Does not include shin guards (required), cleats & water bottle.

BALL SIZE: 4

Teams are separated by gender and contain both 3rd and 4th graders. Games will have one center referee.

5th-6th Grade

TEAMS:
Boys teams & Girls teams

POSSIBLE FIELDS: 
Rahn Elementary School (4425 Sandstone Drive)
Lexington Diffley fields (4201 Lexington Ave)

SCHEDULE:
Mon/Wed: Boys - 1 hour - 6:45-7:45 p.m.
Tues/Thurs: Girls - 1 hour - 5:30-6:30 p.m. 

COST:
$110/season
Includes a uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), fields, team equipment.


Does not include shin guards (required), cleats & water bottle.

BALL SIZE: Size 4

Teams are separated by gender and will be mixed with 5th & 6th graders. Games will have one center referee. 

7th-8th Grade

TEAMS:
Co-Ed

POSSIBLE FIELDS: 
Lexington Diffley fields (4201 Lexington Ave)

New game location - Quarry Point Park (near Eastview High School)

SCHEDULE:
Mon/Wed/Fri - TBD dependent on EVAA game schedule.
1 hour - 7-8:00 p.m.

$110/season
Includes a uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), fields, team equipment.


Does not include shin guards (required), cleats & water bottle.

BALL SIZE: Size 5

Teams are mixed by gender and of 7th & 8th graders. Games will have one certified center referee.
