EAGAN WAVE REC SOCCER

Welcome to Eagan Wave Recreational soccer! Soccer is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country because it is fun and challenging for players of all ages. There are so many benefits to playing soccer including:

  • Boosts self-confidence & self-esteem

2 SEASONS OF PLAY:

  • SPRING: May - June  
  • FALL: August - October

4 LEVELS OF PLAY:*

  • TOTS: Pre-Kindergarten (born before 8/31/17)
  • MINIS: K - 2nd Grade
  • KICKS: 3rd - 4th Grade
  • BREAKAWAYS: 5th - 8th Grade (Spring) and 5th - 6th Grade (Fall)

4 levels of rec SOCCER

As you age through the program new development milestones will be reached.
Please reference the below descriptions for our 4 Rec levels: Tots, Minis, Kicks and Breakaways.

For the Spring season, players should register according to the grade they are in at the start of that season. For the Fall season, players should register according to the grade they will be entering in the fall of that year. 

TOTS  |  Pre-Kindergarten (born before 8/31/17)

TEAMS:
Co-Ed teams

FIELD: 
Blue Cross Blue Shield Field
3535 Blue Cross Road, Eagan

SCHEDULE:
Mon/Wed: Co-Ed Pre-K
-or- Tues/Thurs: Co-Ed Pre-K
45 minutes - 5:30-6:15pm OR 7:00-7:45pm (assigned time is dependent on number of registrants)

COST:
$80/season
Includes uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), fields, team equipment.
Does not include shin guards (required), cleats & water bottle.

BALL SIZE: 3

Teams play on 1/2 of the small fields without goalkeepers. Coaching & game refereeing is done by parent volunteers.

MINIS  |  K - 2nd Grade

TEAMS:
Boys teams & Girls teams

FIELD: 
Blue Cross Blue Shield Field
3535 Blue Cross Road, Eagan

SCHEDULE:
Mon/Wed: K Boys, 1st/2nd Grade Girls
Tues/Thurs: K Girls, 1st/2nd Grade Boys
1 hour - 5:30-6:30pm OR 7:00-8:00pm (assigned time is dependent on number of registrants)

COST:
$80/season
Includes uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), fields, team equipment.
Does not include shin guards (required), cleats & water bottle.

BALL SIZE: 3

Kindergartners will play on 1/2 of the small fields without a goalkeeper. 1st-2nd graders will play a full small field, with a goalkeeper. Coaching & game refereeing is done by parent volunteers.


KICKS   3rd-4th Grade

TEAMS:
Boys teams & Girls teams

POSSIBLE FIELDS: 
Downing Park (4352 Johhny Cake Ridge Road)
Lexington Diffley fields (4201 Lexington Ave)
Mueller Farm Park (945 Wescott Rd)


SCHEDULE:
Mon/Wed: Boys
Tues/Thurs: Girls
1 hour - 5:30-6:30pm OR 7:00-8:00pm (assigned time is dependent on number of registrants)

COST:
$95/season
Includes home & away jerseys (option to purchase black shorts & socks), fields, team equipment.
Does not include shin guards (required), cleats & water bottle.

BALL SIZE: 4

Teams are separated by gender and contain both 3rd and 4th graders. Games will have one certified center referee.


BREAKAWAYS  |  5th-8th Grade (Spring) and 5th-6th Grade (Fall)

TEAMS:
Boys teams & Girls teams

POSSIBLE FIELDS:

BALL SIZE: Size 4 (5th & 6th), Size 5 (7th & 8th)

Teams are separated by gender and will be mixed with 5th & 6th and 7th & 8th graders. Games will have one certified center referee. There will be a one-day jamboree at the end of the season.
