As the MYSA league games begin, I want to provide a few reminders:

• For teams U11 and above, remember to go to the MYSA website (http://mnyouthsoccer.org/hellopage1.cfm) and enter your score after each game. Either team can enter the game score. If the other team has entered the score by the time you go to enter it, simply verify that the score is correct. If a score has been entered incorrectly, contact MYSA as soon as possible. Game scores must be entered into the MYSA website within 48 hours after a game is completed. If neither team enters the score, both teams get a fine from MYSA. EWSC does not reimburse teams for fines.

• When you go to the MYSA website to enter scores in the early part of the season, you will be asked about your team’s intent to participate in MYSA playoffs at the end of the season. Please discuss this with your team coach and team families and record your choice via website.

• The HOME team provides the center referee a STAMPED, addressed envelope so that the referee can mail in the Competitive Match Report from both teams. Pre-addressed labels should have been provided in the team packet received from the MYSA at the scheduling meeting. For both HOME and AWAY games, each team provides the center referee a copy of the Competitive Match Report with the game number and its team roster information filled in.

• If a game is cancelled because of weather, your team does not need to inform MYSA of the cancel, nor worry about the requirement to post a score within 48 hours. You should start the reschedule process as quickly as possible, and when that goes through, the MYSA system will be informed/updated.
