 Congratulations! By volunteering to be your team's Manager, you have assumed a key role in providing an enjoyable season of soccer for all your team members. You will be expected to facilitate communication between your coaching staff and parents, as well as to handle much of the paperwork required to put your team on the field for league play and tournaments. You are the clearinghouse for information and scheduling. You will work closely with the coaching staff to communicate practice and game times, tournament details, the all important juice & snack schedule just to name a few. To help you identify many of the duties involved with the position, we have prepared a Team Manager's Handbook (PDF) and have provided a few important web links below. Among the duties of a team manager are applying for entry into tournaments. You can go directly to the MYSA tournament page to view all MYSA sanctioned tournaments in Minnesota and the border towns in Wisconsin. Apply for tournaments early as they can become full. The MYSA Calendar contains lots of detail regarding events and deadlines pertinent to your team. Check it often for updated information. Need to get hold of one of the Eagan Travel Soccer Board Members? You have given yourself an opportunity to make a positive impact on your team in the upcoming season. Make the most of it, but don't try to do it all by yourself. There are many parents who are willing to help out if only you ask them.
